Freddy is a handsome nearly 3-year-old male French Bulldog who has arrived into our care from a pound we work with after being found as an unclaimed stray.
When Freddy first arrived at the pound, he was a very scared and bewildered boy. He simply could not understand what was happening or why he was there. The pound contacted us to see if we had room, as we are a much smaller and quieter rescue, in the hope that Freddy would not feel so overwhelmed. Thankfully, since arriving at our Rescue, Freddy has done amazingly well and settled in really nicely.
Freddy is a sweet, loving and loyal little boy once he gets to know you. With new people, however, he can be nervous and needs a little time to feel safe and comfortable. Once he trusts you, his funny little personality really starts to shine through!
Freddy certainly has lots of character. Not only does he have a wonderful funny personality, but his hilarious facial expressions will have you laughing every day!
About Freddy:
- Freddy is an active little dog who enjoys his walks, but he is not looking for extremely long walks all the time.
- He is social with other dogs on walks and is non-reactive.
- Can be left for sensible periods of time once fully settled into his new home.
- No young children – teenagers and above only.
- Dog introductions can be arranged. Freddy does enjoy socialising and playing with other dogs.
- Confident, dog-savvy cats may be considered.
- Freddy will need patient owners who understand that he may take a little time to build trust with new people.
ADOPTION INFORMATION:
Our adoption fee for dogs is £250, which includes: neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, flea & worm treatment, full veterinary health check and lifetime rescue back-up.
Please remember that adopting a rescue dog is a long-term commitment. We are looking for the right home for Freddy rather than simply the first home available.
Our adoption process includes an application, virtual home check and the necessary checks before adoption.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the demands of rescue and the number of dogs waiting to come into our care, we are unfortunately unable to hold dogs for extended periods of time. If you apply for Freddy, you must be in a position to adopt within a reasonable timeframe.
