Daisy  and Luna are an adorable bonded mother-and-daughter pair searching for a very special family who can offer them a loving home together.

Despite their ages, both girls are still active and really enjoy their walks. They walk nicely on lead and are social with other dogs, although Luna can sometimes be a little yappy when meeting certain dogs.

These two are incredibly sweet, affectionate girls who absolutely love being with their people. Luna especially adores curling up on your lap for cuddles.

Daisy is the more confident of the pair and will happily greet people straight away. Luna can be nervous around new people and may bark at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she will come over for affection in her own time. She simply does not like being rushed by strangers.

Daisy and Luna are:

  • House trained
  • Well behaved in the home
  • Able to be left for sensible periods
  • Happy travelling in the car (when crated)

Due to their age, we feel they would be happiest in a home without young children.

They are both dog social, and dog introductions can be arranged. They have also been good with the Rescue’s resident cats, although confident, dog-savvy cats would be best as they may occasionally give chase.

Daisy and Luna would make wonderful companion dogs for an older person or couple. They truly have so much love to give and are such lovely girls.

MEDICAL INFORMATION:

Luna passed her veterinary check with flying colours, although she does require a dental procedure, which the Rescue will cover.

Daisy also requires a dental procedure and, like Luna, the Rescue will cover the cost of this.

During Daisy’s veterinary check, a Grade 4 heart murmur was discovered. Following a heart scan, she has been diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease and will need lifelong medication (VetMedin). The medication costs approximately £50 per month.

We know it is a big ask to adopt a bonded pair, especially with Daisy’s diagnosis, but these girls are so devoted to one another and truly deserve the chance to spend the rest of their lives together in a loving home.

Once you meet them, you’ll immediately see the beautiful bond they share and what wonderful girls they are.

Please note: any resident dogs must already be neutered.
