Garfield is a lovely boy who arrived at the Rescue through no fault of his own. Understandably, the upheaval has left him feeling rather bewildered, and at the moment he is spending much of his time hiding away.
But there is a sweet, friendly and loving boy underneath that initial shyness. When you take the time to sit with Garfield and let him get to know you, he shows you just how affectionate he can be. He simply needs patience, kindness and the opportunity to settle at his own pace.
Garfield could live with another cat and could also live with calm, sensible children who understand that he will need some time and space to feel comfortable in his new home.
