Rocky has had a sheltered start to life which has left him a little bit unsure in certain situations, but he has never been aggressive when he is scared.
Once Rocky is happy in his surroundings, he really bonds with his people. He loves to be on your knee for a cuddle and has been used to sleeping in his owner’s bed at night.
Rocky has no issues being handled, or picked up, once he knows you. He does need a home that is going to take him to lots of different places to build his confidence up and take him for long walks as he is only young and has a lot of energy.
Rocky can live with other dogs (that are already neutered) but they need to be robust and playful (he can be a bit much for smaller timid dogs).
We have cat tested Rocky and he did really well and did not show any interest in them. As with any new dog in the home, care would need to be taken if living with cats until they were used to each other.
Rocky was used to visiting children in his previous home, however, due to him being nervous in new situations, we are looking for a home without young children.
Rocky will need someone around most of the day to settle him in. Once settled, he can be left for short periods.
