Milo found himself in the pound, waiting patiently through his seven-day stray period in the hope someone would come for him. Sadly, no one ever did. But Milo has not let that dampen his gentle spirit and he is now ready for the fresh start he so deeply deserves.
When Milo first arrived at the Rescue, he was understandably nervous. New places, new faces, new sounds, it was a lot for him. But, with a little patience and kindness, Milo shows you exactly who he is; a sweet, loving, affectionate boy who just wants to feel safe and loved. Once he trusts you, he forms a beautiful bond and becomes the most loyal companion.
Milo enjoys the simple things in life. A nice walk, a sniff of something interesting, the occasional toy to play with, but overall, he has a wonderfully calm and chilled personality. He loves his walks and would thrive in an active home. He walks beautifully on the lead, only pulling slightly if an exciting scent catches his nose.
Out on walks, Milo is a true gentleman. He is not bothered by passing people or dogs and has had no issues walking alongside other dogs at the Rescue or politely saying hello to new canine friends.
As Milo can be a little unsure when first meeting new people, we feel he would be best suited to a home with older children only (aged sixteen years and upwards), where he can settle at his own pace.
Dog meets with dogs of a similar size can be arranged, with careful and positive introductions.
Once Milo is settled into his new home, he can be left alone for sensible periods of time, and he travels very well in the car. He is always ready for the next adventure with his person.
🐾 A few important things to know:
- Older children only (aged sixteen years and upwards)
- Dog meets available with similar-sized dogs
- Any existing pets in the household must already be neutered
Milo has already waited long enough. He is ready to leave his past behind and finally belong to someone who will love him for the gentle soul he is. Could you be the one to give Milo his forever home?
