Buddy joined us from another rescue after the busy environment there proved a little too overwhelming for him. Since arriving, he has shown us what an amazing, fun-loving boy he truly is.
Buddy is a bundle of energy who absolutely loves his walks and is ready for plenty of adventures with his forever family. He lives life to the full but also has the sweetest, most affectionate side, so you really do get the best of both worlds with him.
He walks well on a head collar. Due to limited socialisation in his early life, he can be vocal when he sees other dogs. The good news is that he is bright, eager to learn, and responds brilliantly to training (especially when cocktail sausages are involved). With patience, consistency and continued positive socialising, we know Buddy will thrive.
Dog introductions can be done successfully, but any resident dog would need to be well-socialised and non-reactive. Buddy can be full-on and excitable when meeting other dogs, so he needs guidance to help him learn appropriate interactions.
Buddy is good in the home and travels well in the car (crated).
Children aged ten years upwards will be considered (as he can be excitable) and any existing dogs in the household must already be neutered.
Buddy is such a loving, loyal boy who just needs the right family to help him shine.
