Glen’s journey has not been the easiest. He first arrived into our care when his previous family realised they did not have the time he needed. He was later adopted, but sadly the home was not quite the right fit for him.

Glen is still very much a puppy. He is a big, goofy, energetic boy who is currently in that classic teenage stage. That means he can be silly, excitable, and sometimes forget just how big he is! But, behind that playful chaos is an incredibly loving dog who absolutely adores people and thrives on attention and companionship.

He greets the world with pure enthusiasm and sometimes just needs a little help remembering his manners. With the right guidance, patience, and consistency, Glen will grow into the most incredible companion. The potential in this boy is huge.

Glen is looking for a dog-savvy home, ideally with experience of larger breeds. He needs a family who understands that puppies require time, structure, training, and patience. Daily training, clear boundaries, and ideally obedience classes will help him become the amazing dog we know he can be.

This boy LOVES adventure. Long walks, exploring new places, and having things to do make him happiest. He will not be content with a quick walk around the block and needs an active home that can keep up with his zest for life.

He is currently learning to walk nicely on a lead and is doing well while using a head collar during training.

Glen is friendly with other dogs, but because he is big, playful, and sometimes a bit of a clown, any dogs in the home would need to be of a similar size and able to handle his enthusiastic play style.

Due to his bouncy nature, we are recommending a home with older children only, as he could accidentally knock over little ones while trying to play or say hello.

Glen travels well in the car when crated and has been reported as house-trained, although like any young dog, he may still occasionally chew or steal the odd item if given the chance.

When Glen first moves into his new home, he will need someone around for most of the day to help him settle and feel secure. Once comfortable, he should be able to be left for sensible periods.

What Glen needs most is commitment, patience, guidance, and love. In return, he will give you loyalty, laughter, adventure, and a bond that only a dog like Glen can give.

Somewhere out there is the person or family who will look at this boy and see exactly what we see, a wonderful dog who just needs the right chance.

Any existing pets in the household must already be neutered.
