Meet Resident cats

Resident animal at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Age: Various

Pennine Pen’s cattery is a temporary living area to many cats looking for their forever homes.  The cattery is also home to seven permanent residents, namely, Tinsel, Ribbon, April, Milly, Molly, Maple and Marge.  All the resident cats arrived at Pennine Pen extremely scared and semi feral and as their temperament was unlikely to change, they were considered unsuitable for rehoming.

The resident cats rule the roost and come and go as they please.  They spend their days in either their indoor or outdoor areas, playing, eating and lazing around in the many comfy beds and hidden areas available to them. They all look forward to meal times and tasty treats and some will even allow their three favourite volunteers to play and groom them.

You can help to cover the cost of caring for our resident cats by joining our sponsorship scheme.  Alternatively, you can set up a regular standing order, or make a one off donation, via Wonderful.org.
