Once upon a time, Kevin must have had a home as he was wearing a collar. Sadly, the collar was not a snap away one and Kevin ended up getting it stuck under his front leg. Over time, it slowly sliced into his skin, then his muscle became infected.
Kevin’s luck changed when he went into the garden of a very kind lady who saw he was in trouble and got him trapped and brought him to safety.
Kevin has been in our vets receiving amazing care. He has had very strong pain relief, antibiotics and once he was stable, he was put under so his wound could be cleaned better. He has been having the injury dressed and cleaned regularly as it could not be stitched because of the infection.
Now Kevin has started to feel a bit better, he has actually been having a fuss off the vets and nurses; he was in so much pain when he first arrived, he was understandably not a happy boy.
Kevin has a long road to full recovery, but has done remarkably well already considering everything he has been through.
Kevin will be looking for a new home once he is well enough.
