Lisa is a small female Labrador who arrived into our care after her owner sadly passed away. She was adopted as a puppy in Greece, by her previous owner, then moved to England about four years ago when her owner moved back to the UK.
As you can probably tell by the picture of Lisa, she is currently very overweight so she is now on a strict diet to help with this and the pressure on her joints etc.
Lisa is very sweet, gentle, loving, and and laid back dog who would make an ideal companion dog for an older person or couple.
She is not a big walker at the moment. She prefers little walks, a few times a day, but once she has lost some weight she may feel able to walk for longer periods of time. We are told she has not been in a vehicle much but travels well when she has been in one.
Lisa previously lived with another dog all her life, with no problems, but she can be a little bossy with new dogs if they pester her. Dog introductions can be done but she would not appreciate a young dog who is going to be bouncing about all over as she prefers a slower quieter pace of life.
Lisa tested well with the cats here, but will chase given the chance, so the cats will need to be confident and used to dogs.
We are told she is house trained and can be left for sensible periods of time.
Lisa does not mind people coming and going from the home, she just want to say hello to everyone.
