Tilda is a medium sized crossbreed who arrived into our care after her owner sadly passed away. She was adopted as a puppy in Greece, by her previous owner, and moved to England about four years ago when her owner moved back to the UK.
Tilda is a little overweight, but nothing too bad, and regular walks and the correct food will help with this.
Tilda is a very sweet, gentle, loving, and and laid back dog who would make an ideal companion dog for an older person or couple.
She does like her walks but she is not a dog who wants big walks. She prefers shorter walks, a few times a day, but once she is used to getting more walks she may build up her stamina and be able to walk for longer periods of time.
We are told she has not been in a vehicle much but travels well when she has been in one.
She has lived with another dog all her life, with no problems, and has mixed well here. Dog introductions can be done but she would not appreciate a young dog who is going to be bouncing about all over as she prefers a slower and calmer pace of life. She does like a little play with one of our other residents.
Tilda tested well with the cats here, but will chase given the chance, so the cats will need to be confident and used to dogs.
We are told she is house trained and can be left for sensible periods of time.
Tilda does not mind people coming and going from the home, she just want to say hello to everyone.
