Meet Toby & Susu

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: adopted

Breed: Bichon frise

Age: Toby (thirteen years old) & Susu (eleven years old)

Toby (left) and Susu (right) are father and daughter, who arrived at the Rescue, because their owner could no longer care for them.

Toby and Susu are cracking little dogs that are so lovable and well behaved. They may be older, but they are still spritely for their age and enjoy their little walks a few times a day. They work brilliantly on their leads and have met all new dogs without any problems. Toby is initially a little scared of new people and environments, so it takes him a couple of days to settle and feel safe.

Toby and Susu are both on medication for their ears and legs.  This is likely to be something that will need to be continued throughout their life in their new home and potential adopters need to be aware of this. They are looking for a quieter home together, as they have such a strong bond and with no children, but they could live with other calmer dogs with successful introduction.
