Age: Five years old
Sadie arrived at the Rescue after her previous owner left her tied up along with another dog. As a result, she was placed into a pound and in need of second chance.
Sadie had a terrible flea infestation, which had been left untreated for some time, leaving her skin with hot spots and sores. This is now being treated and she will be feeling and looking better very soon, but this may be something that will need to continue into her home until she is fully cleared up.
At first, Sadie comes across a little aloof, but once she gets to know you, you see the playful, lovely girl, that she is. Sadie walks well on her lead, but can pull if she sees something she wants to play with. She has been great meeting other new dogs and usually just gets excited and wants to play with them. Sadie is clean in her kennel and travels well.
Sadie is looking for an active home where she will not be left for longer than 4 hours at a time. Sadie could live with older children (10 years plus) and could live with another dog, with successful introductions, but no cats.
