Meet Rosie

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: reserved

Breed: Jack Russell

Age: Seven years old

Rosie came to the Rescue to help her find the right home after she was struggling at another Rescue. Rosie is only a dinky little girl and has a sweet loving nature with people. She can be bossy with other dogs though, so if there was another dog in the home, it would have to be a calm neutered male of a similar size, who would not pester her. Sadly, Rosie is not suitable to live with cats.

Children in the home would need to be aged seven years plus. Rosie has struggled to find her forever home, because she hates to be by herself, so her new family will need to have someone around most of the time and be patient while she settles and understand there is no quick fix for separation anxiety. Rosie travels well, enjoys her walks, but her favourite thing is being around people and as soon as you sit down, she will be on your knee.
