FOSTER WITH A VIEW TO ADOPTION APPEAL.
Pippa is a female Cockerpoo (cocker size) looking for a special home. She sadly found herself in our care after her elderly owner could no longer give her the care she needed.
Pippa is the sweetest and most adorable little girl who loves everyone she meets and loves a fuss. In the home, Pippa can guard things, e.g. her food bowl when eating and certain toys. Pippa does give clear signals when she is not happy, so as long as you are aware and read her signals, this can be managed in the right way.
When eating, Pippa does not like her bowl being messed with, but after she has eaten, you can remove the bowl with no problems. However, whilst she is eating, she likes to be left alone.
Pippa loves to play, especially with her ball, and will happily bring it to you to throw, but if she takes her ball into her bed, she likes to be left alone.
She loves her walks, but she does not need long walks. She is happy to have a few potters about a day to sniff and stretch her legs.
We will consider a home without a garden, depending on the setup.
Pippa is looking for an adult only home with no children, including any visiting children.
She can be left for sensible periods of time once settled in her new home.
Pippa travels well in the car and will happily hop in and out on her own with no problems.
She has lived with cats in her previous home and has mixed well with the other dogs here at the Rescue, so dog introductions can be done.
Please note that any existing pets in the household must already be neutered.
