Meet Jake

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: reserved

Breed: Jack Russell

Age: Thirteen years old

Jake arrived at the Rescue, as sadly, his owner had passed away. Understandably, Jake is not coping well in kennels, so we want to find him a forever loving home as soon as possible.

Jake is a cheeky boy and he absolutely loves his walks.  He starts off with a giant spring in his step, then does slow down a bit, so he cannot walk for miles. He has met and mixed with other new dogs, with no issues, so he could potentially live with another dog with successful introductions.  He also likes to play with his tug toys, but sometimes wants to keep them all to himself.

Jake travels well and is toilet trained. Jake would make someone a very loyal companion.  He needs a home where he will not be left for long periods and with no children, as he can be a little possessive with some things.
