Breed: Border Collie
Age: Seven years old
George arrived at the Rescue to find a new home.
George is a typical collie with his mannerisms and loves his toys, especially playing ball!
He bonds well with his people and loves people in general. George lived with a couple in his old home, but they did have visiting grandchildren and George has always been okay with them, so he could possibly live with dog savvy older children who will respect his space.
George cannot be rehomed with cats. He is generally okay with other dogs, but can be reactive towards males (especially unneutered males) so could possibly live with a neutered female with successful introductions at the Rescue.
George has no issues in the home and is happy to travel in a car.
Out on walks George is strong on lead so will need teaching some manners on lead. He can be nervous around large loud vehicles.
George will need his own secure garden, not a flat or communal garden.
