Meet Dougie

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: reserved

Breed: Lurcher

Age: Twelve months old

Dougie arrived at the Rescue from a pound in the south of England and had been found stray.

Dougie is a loving, cheeky boy who loves his toys and playing with other dogs. Dougie travels well in a car and is toilet trained and walks well on a lead, but he can be a little bouncy if he sees a squirrel, or a cat and will bark at other dogs as he wants to say hello.

Dougie is looking for a home where he will have someone around most of the day, as he does have a little separation anxiety, but he needs to learn how to be left gradually. Dougie would love a forever home with another neutered and similar sized dog to play with and keep him company. Dougie cannot live with cats, or small furry animals and children will need to be older.
