Meet Daphne

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: adopted

Breed: Small crossbreed

Age: Ten months old

Daphne is a beautiful girl, who arrived at the Rescue, as a stray from a pound.

Daphne is such a friendly and affectionate little girl that craves your company. It is clear that Daphne has not had much socialisation in her young life, so is a little scared of new situations and people at first. However, it does not take long to gain her trust and see what a fun loving girl she can be.

Daphne is enjoying her walks and  considering she is a little nervous and new to walking on a lead, she walks well and generally goes with the flow. She has been brilliant at meeting new dogs and makes friends easily, although big boisterous dogs can scare her.

Daphne could live with older sensible children and would love another doggy pal to play with and keep her company, although this is not essential and she could potentially live with confident cats.
