Meet Copper

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: adopted

Breed: Lurcher

Age: Five years old

Copper was previously in a pound as an unclaimed stray and needed a safe rescue space to find him his forever home.

Copper is a very sweet natured, playful boy, who brings the ball back and drops it in your hand every time when playing fetch.

He has loved everybody he has met so far and loves a fuss being made of him, although at times, he has been a little bit hand shy.  On walks, Copper has been walking nicely on his lead and is not reactive towards other dogs. In fact, he always seems happy to see other dogs and wants to say hello. Copper is in good health, is clean and not destructive in his kennel and travels well.  Copper could live with another dog with successful introductions and older children, but needs a home with no cats, or small animals.
