Meet Bruno

Adoptable dog at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: adopted

Breed: Pug cross Beagle

Age: Six years old

Albert is a lovely little boy, who was rehomed earlier in the year, but sadly his home has not worked out and he is back with us to find himself a new family.

Albert originally arrived at the Rescue as he was not getting along with the resident dog in the home and because of this and our assessment, Albert will need a home as the only pet.

Albert is a fun, quirky little character. He loves his toys, he is house trained, he loves his walks and food (a bit too much as he does need to lose some weight)

Albert cannot be rehomed with young children or a home where there will be visiting young children. He is going to need a home that is not on a busy road, as he is a traffic chaser and this needs to be worked on as it is dangerous having a dog that pulls towards traffic, so his new family need to be committed to teaching Albert an alternative behaviour near roads.

Albert can be reactive towards some dogs on walks, but others he will happily walk past and ignore. Again, this is something we will be working on, but his new family need to continue. Another must for Albert is a secure garden that he cannot see traffic out of.

He really is a lovely dog and we know the right home is out there for him.
