Bert is a dinky boy, who arrived into our care via the pound system, as he had completed his seven days and needed a rescue space.
Since arriving at the Rescue, Bert has been nothing but a ball of fun and energy. He loves to be with you and involved in everything you are doing. While Bert will sit nicely for a treat and does not snatch when taking it, he will also be in your bin if he is able to get to it so needs boundaries/management and some training so he knows what is acceptable behaviour in the home.
Bert has been great on his walks and walks well in a harness. He has been a good boy meeting other dogs but can equally walk past them without issue. Bert is looking for a pet free home so he can get all the attention focussed on him. Confident cats we will consider. Bert would prefer a home with a secure garden but that is not essential depending on the home. Introductions can be done with older children. . Bert will need someone home most of the day until he is settled and then he can gradually get used to being left. Bert travels well in a car and would love to go on trips out to different places.
