Meet Goliath

Adoptable cat at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: adopted

Breed: Domestic short hair

Age: Three years old

Goliath arrived at the Rescue as a stray and was never claimed. As you can guess from his name, Goliath is a big boy. He has had a sad life, living on the streets and having to fend for himself for most of his life, so he looks like a bruiser. He is in fact a big softy once you get to know him.

Goliath has come out of his shell a bit now and loves a fuss and a cuddle. He will hiss when he is scared, but given the life he has had, this is understandable. Goliath would need a quiet home where he can settle in his own time. He needs time to learn to trust humans again after a life on the streets.

Goliath has tested positive for FIV and will therefore need to be an INDOOR cat only. He cannot live with other cats, unless they too are FIV positive.

He could live with sensible children.
