Meet Eddy

Adoptable cat at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue in Manchester, UK

Status: available

Breed: Domestic short hair

Age: Seven years old

Eddy was a stray, who had been in a fight with another cat (sadly something that happens more when you do not neuter your cats) and as a result, a cat bite on his neck was left untreated. It then became an abscess and the infection killed off a lot of skin around it which has had to be cut away.

Despite the terrible wound on his neck, Eddy is a loving and affectionate boy who has been so well behaved and patient with us while treating and cleaning his wound daily.

Eddy is now on the long road to recovery and is under veterinary care until his wound heals. He will soon be looking for a home.
