Sadly, Jess has been returned into our care. It is not the fault of Jess, or her owners, despite cat testing her while she was at the Rescue. Once settled in a home, Jess became territorial and despite everyone’s best efforts, it became unsafe for Jess to stay there as she was going to end up hurting the resident cat. Jess is great with people, but is going to need a pet free home and someone who is around most of the day as she does not like being left alone.

Jess originally arrived at the Rescue after her owner sadly passed away. She is a friendly and happy little dog who loves people and lots of attention and really is a sweetheart.

She is totally deaf, but this does not affect her in any way, and as far as we are aware, she has always been deaf.

She likes her walks but is not a big walker. She is happy to have shorter walks, but often, then she can get out to toilet, have a sniff, and stretch her legs.

She walks well on the lead and does not pull.

Jess is used to someone being around most of the time, so she is looking for a home where she will not be left for long periods. She does not like being left by herself so will need to gradually get used to being left.

Jess has always lived on her own and likes all the attention to herself, so she is looking for a home where she can be the only dog.

No other pets.
