Ebony has arrived into our care from a pound after being yet another unclaimed stray. On arrival to the pound, it was clear that she had some sort of untreated infected wound on her back which had left her very sore and uncomfortable. Since being treated, the wound has healed without any problems.
When Ebony first arrived at the Rescue, she was initially, and understandably, a little nervous, but it only took her a matter of hours for her to know she was safe.
She is full of life and loves her toys and playtime. She will happily play with her ball and entertain herself, but she does also like a good game of fetch.
Ebony has a sweet and loving nature and likes lots of attention. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people and can bark at them out of fear, but once she knows you, which does not take long, she will happily say hello. She absolutely loves her walks and adventures, so she is looking for an active family who can take her out on plenty of exciting walks.
She can be nervous about meeting other dogs, but once she gets to know them, she will happily go for walks with them. New dogs on walks she will mostly ignore, but the odd ones she will show interest in.
Ebony is looking for a pet free home (no dogs, cats, or small animals).
Teens and above only due to Ebony being a little nervous at times.
