Cookie was sadly arrived at the Rescue as his owner could no longer care for him due to ill health.
Cookie has lived his whole life in the same home and is understandably scared and bewildered at the moment. You cannot tell from the photo, but he is big and he is fluffy.
He spends all of his time hiding away. Although he does not flinch away from a fuss, Cookie is still very shy around people and tends to ignore any attention he gets out of fear. We are hoping he will settle in soon but it could just be that he is a shy cat anyway.
Cookie may need time to settle so we think he would be best in a quiet home with no children.
He has lived with other cats before.
