Brody arrived at the Rescue as a stray and was never claimed. Brody is quite scared at the moment and will need an understanding owner willing to allow him to settle in his own time as needs to regain his trust in humans with plenty of TLC. Brody can be stroked and handled, but spends most of his time hiding away at the moment.

As Brody has been left to roam unneutered, he has contracted FIV from either fighting or mating. Thankfully, since he has been in our care, he has been neutered and is now warm, and well fed. However, his new owners will need to prevent him from spreading the illness and he will need to be the only cat, or he could possibly live with another FIV cat, given careful introductions.

For information on FIV please visit: Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
